The cone crusher is a kind of equipment used to crush ore, limestone, coal, and other materials. It is mainly composed of a frame, transmission, eccentric shaft, bowl bearing, mantle parts, cone crusher base, locking device, lubrication system, adjustment device, etc. Let’s talk about how to install these main parts of the cone crusher.
1. Chassis Installation
The equipment is placed on the constructed foundation (the cone crusher must be installed on a solid reinforced concrete foundation, and to avoid the accumulation of ore, the lower part of the foundation must have enough space to install the transportation equipment).
Placement of the equipment: The equipment needs to be pre-embedded according to the foundation plan for the ground bolts (according to the user’s requirements, it can also not use the ground bolts, but use the pre-embedded iron program)
- According to the base diagram, the second filling is carried out to the position of the anchor bolt.
- When the secondary filling layer is hardened, the chassis should be installed.
When installing the base frame, maintain strict verticality and horizontality. The centerline of the base can be checked with a level and a hanging hammer on the ring machining surface of the base.
Maintaining the horizontality of the base can ensure the dynamic balance of the equipment, thus strongly ensuring the reliability of the machine.
2. Transmission Components Installation
The bearing is hot-installed, and the drive shaft should be mounted so that the bearing is axially located relative to the drive shaft and shimmed between the base and the flange of the drive shaft holder.
When installing the gland and the main pulley, etc., the flat contact part must be coated with a layer of sealant. And the axial movement should be 0.4-0.6 mm.
The square head set screw on the drive shaft holder flange can be utilized to top out when removing the drive shaft, and the square head screw should not be screwed on when the drive shaft is not removed.
When installing the gland and host pulley, etc., a layer of sealant must be applied all over the plane of the plane contact part and the plane of the flat key.
3. Eccentric Shaft Installation
Before installing the eccentric shaft, install the gasket on the bottom cover, place the bottom cover on the lower end of the frame with the hook, and then install the lower round plate and the round plate on the bottom cover in sequence with the hook. Make the convex part of the lower round plate and the concave part of the bottom cover clamp well.
When assembling, the ring head screw can be used to fit the eccentric set into the center hole of the frame, and it should be dropped steadily when loading so that the gears will not be hit.
After the hollow eccentric shaft is mounted, the outer end faces of the large and small gears must be aligned, and the gear meshing clearance must be checked. For 1200 crusher gear tooth side is 2.1-2.58mm.
4.Bowl Bearing Installation
Preparation before installation of bowl bearing
- Remove the sundries in the oil tank and oil hole;
- Check whether the dust ring and oil baffle ring are damaged or deformed;
- Inspect the machined surfaces for damage. Any damage should be repaired immediately.
The bowl-bearing frame shall be closely matched with the base, and the tightness of the horizontal contact surface shall be checked with a feeler gauge.
After the bowl bearing is installed, cover the bowl bearing with the cover plate, and remove it when the broken cone is installed.
When installing the bowl bearing, pay attention to protecting the water inlet pipe, drainage pipe, oil baffle ring, and dust-proof ring to avoid damage during installation.
5. Mantle Parts Installation
Remove the protective oil layer on the main shaft, spherical and conical surface, and blow out the lubricating oil hole and groove.
Apply a layer of yellow dry oil to the surface of the main shaft and apply a thin layer of oil on the spherical and conical surfaces.
Wrap the main shaft with thin plastic paper to prevent contamination.
Place the movable cone on the iron shelf, weld two symmetrical rings on the outer surface of the mantle, and lift the mantle on the movable cone. Install the small liner, the backing ring, and the cap nut ( Left-hand thread), then use a special wrench and sledgehammer to tighten the cap nut, and use a feeler gauge to check the gap between the mantle and the movable cone to make sure that it is nearly zero and the circumference is consistent.
When assembling, lift the parts of the movable cone at the cap nut, gently put the main shaft of the movable cone into the sleeve of the exciter parts, and firmly make the spherical surface of the movable cone contact with the spherical surface of the movable cone-bearing to avoid the tapered tongue ring, the outer edge being overhead on the movable cone-bearing and crushing the sealing ring.
6. Adjusting Ring Installation
Adjusting ring parts include hopper, thread ring, concave, etc. Its installation quality can also affect the stability of equipment operation, crushing effect and service life of concave.
The fixed cone liner plate and the threaded ring contact through the conical surface. During installation, place the fixed cone liner plate, place the threaded ring on it, place the flange on the threaded ring, clamp the snap ring on the outer ring of the neck of the fixed cone liner plate, and then tighten the bolts step by step, repeatedly and symmetrically to jack up the flange and clamp the snap ring.
After the concave is installed, components such as pressure iron, seal ring, and hopper can be installed.
7. Locking Device Installation
Determine the relative position of the locking structure and the bearing ring according to the positioning pin, then screw the adjustment ring in, and adjust it to the proper position to get the proper discharge opening clearance.
Always ensure that the locking structure is parallel to the bearing ring. Open the high-pressure pump station and adjust the pressure to 13 MPa, then repeatedly and symmetrically screw the ejector pins of the structural jacks one by one.
Close the high-pressure pump and remove the residual pressure of the high-pressure pump.
Because the locking device is locked by the Belleville spring, the high-pressure pump cannot be opened when the equipment is in normal operation.
8. Lubrication Device Installation
The lubrication device must be configured to ensure the smoothness of the lubrication inlet and return.
The installation of the lubrication device should be completed before installing the crushing cone.
After completing the installation of the lubrication device, the lubrication device should be tested, debugging the lubrication system and control, such as the lubrication system is found to have a fault, it must be dismantled and repaired.
Debug the lubrication device temperature, and pressure control system, by adjusting the pressure and temperature upper and lower limit pointers to check the reliability of the electric contact pressure gauge, temperature gauge and its reliability and the reliability of the connection with the electronic control cabinet, to ensure the reliability of the equipment control system.
9. Adjusting Device Installation
- Clean the support sleeve and adjustment ring. Apply a mixture of dry and thin oil on the serrated threads, install the locking cylinder on the supporting sleeve, and connect the interface part of the locking cylinder to the interface part of the hydraulic station.
- Install the support sleeve on the frame.
- Rotate the adjusting ring into the support sleeve.
- Twist the lock nut on the support sleeve and drive four pins into the pin holes.
- Install the funnel unit and funnel.
- Install the dust cover: when installing the dust cover, take care to snap the four key blocks of the adjustment ring into the slots of the dust cover.
- Install the push cylinder accumulator, install the push cylinder according to the position, its two interfaces are connected to the interface of the hydraulic station, the accumulator with pipe clamps put in the feed section strut, its interface through the hose and four-way to the locking cylinder oil circuit.
10. Feeding Device Installation
Incorrect installation will have the following effects on the crusher
- Lower output;
- Uneven discharge size, more chunks;
- Uneven or accelerated wear of wear parts.
The height of the feed opening from the distribution plate is important for the normal operation of the crusher, too high, the ore is easy to enters the crushing space directly without the distribution plate, so it must be installed according to the specified height.
The curved steel plate is used to protect the feed box from being damaged and the ore is not easy to be clogged in the feed opening. When installing the curved steel plate, it is necessary to keep the shape of the curved steel plate and the size of the curved steel plate from the edge of the feed opening, so as not to pile up the ore.
